Der Verein, dessen Tätigkeit nicht auf Gewinn gerichtet ist, bezweckt die Errichtung und Erhaltung von Infrastruktur zur Vermittlung, Erarbeitung und Verbreitung technischen Wissens und handwerklicher Fähigkeiten mit Fokus und Schwerpunkt auf den sozialen und politischen Implikationen dieser Inhalte sowie der zur Durchführung solcher Projekte notwendigen Abläufe und Vorgehensweisen.

Currently the IT-Syndikat utilises a RepMan which is a commercial version of the original RepRap Darwin Design available from bitsfrombytes. We are also in the process of building a RepRap Prusa.

Once a month vLOKALE sZÄhNE is hosting a radioshow with the it-syndikat on radio freirad. We use this opportunity to reach more people and spread the word about things we find interesting. Language is German, sorry to everybody who doesn't speak German.
